To Ian,
We had a chat about how your feeling two weeks before you died.
You gave me the biggest cuddle and squeeze and we both cried.
You asked to me take care of Ade, the easiest promise I’ve ever made.
I’m so sorry you had to leave us all, especially the way you did.
You fought so hard like a warrior whilst all your fear you hid.
Jo and the girls are broken, in time their hearts will mend, but your memory, your laugh and your farts they will never end.
Ian I had such a short time with you, but knew you were such a good man.
An amazing brother, son, husband, dad, you had so many fans.
I hope your at peace in heaven up amongst the stars.
We will forever and always look up for you remembering you as ours.
I promise to take care of Ade forever and love him with all my heart.
I’ll support your family and friends to the best I can because you had to depart.
Goodnight godbless forever untill we meet again, to the loveliest man that walked the earth amen xxx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
